There is a glimmer of very good news to be celebrated amongst Her Majesty’s official opposition. The Liberals had a very good quarter. It’s ironic since Ignatieff is almost dependent on the recession getting deeper if he intends to dethrone Stephen Harper. The Liberals managed to raise $3.9M this past quarter. Good News, Bad News for the Liberals
Three Meetings, One Loser
Iggy and Harper sat down three times over the past two days to discuss the unsexy issue of Employment Insurance. I thought that the PM was agreeing to these meetings to save his ass from an election threat; one which I thought he could lose. It turns out that he was seizing an opportunity to deliver a crushing blow to the Liberal leader who now looks less effective than ever and less capable of leading Canada. Listen in…
