OTTAWA, 1872 – Canada’s big three town crier companies – Bytown Criers Inc, Sunrise Guys, GoldenThroat Criers – are petitioning Ottawa for a bailout claiming that the proliferation of daily papers of news, or “Newspapers,” is dramatically affecting their profitability as advertisers no longer see the value in conventional town criers.
