We’re approaching the first anniversary of this insane parliament that we’ve been enjoying. It seems like just yesterday we were watching Stephen Harper undo the 39th parliament and gear up for another election. Let’s flash back to that storied time. Stephen Harper was riding the crest of a hot economy, we had too many jobs and not enough people, Canada was paying off debt and slashing taxes, Jack Layton was getting shorter while his moustache was getting longer, and Stephane Dion was doing his darndest to convince Liberal voters that he wasn’t a total disaster.
